Brook Street UK is seeking a dedicated Senior Residential Care Worker in Halifax to support children and young people in a trauma-informed residential setting. You will help with emotional, social, and physical development within a structured environment and model high standards of care.

You will work evenings, weekends and sleep-ins as part of a 37-hour week, providing mentoring to colleagues and contributing to care planning and safeguarding.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in residential care with children and young people, including trauma-impacted individuals.
• Level 4 Health & Social Care or NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People\'s Workforce (or equivalent) required.
• Commitment to trauma-informed residential care and professional development.

Aufgaben

• Support day-to-day residential care of children and young people, ensuring dignity and respect.
• Work with safeguarding teams and external professionals for joined-up care.
• Contribute to care planning and training to strengthen trauma-informed practice.
• Mentor colleagues to deliver trauma-informed care and support positive outcomes.
• Help create a stable, supportive environment where children can heal from trauma.
