Job summary

Turning Tides in Worthing seeks a Project Worker to support high-quality accommodation services for people facing homelessness and related needs. You will be part of a team to develop, shape and evaluate the service to meet unique client aspirations.

You will work with vulnerable populations, including those with substance use, trauma or mental health challenges, using trauma-informed approaches to promote recovery and independence. The role requires flexibility to cover weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, person-centred approach to housing insecure clients.
• Experience with homelessness, trauma, substance use, or mental health challenges.
• Strong communicator with clients, colleagues and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop, shape and evaluate the service to meet residents’ needs.
• Work with the local authority to reduce rough sleeping and insecure accommodation.
• Provide continuous support with flexible shift patterns.
