Job summary

Southdown is seeking a Housing Support Specialist in Crawley to provide trauma-informed, one-to-one tenancy support for people at risk of homelessness. You will manage a client caseload and deliver life skills interventions, working within a multi-agency team to coordinate support services.

Full induction and training are provided; prior experience in social care roles is welcomed but not essential. The role offers a supportive environment focused on lasting positive changes for clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing/homelessness support or related social care is preferred.
• Ability to apply trauma-informed approaches in daily practice.
• Willingness to undertake full induction and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, short-term tenancy support for people at risk of homelessness.
• Hold a client caseload and deliver one-to-one support sessions and life skills interventions.
• Collaborate with a multi-agency team to identify needs and coordinate support.
