Job summary

CIH International Housing Group in Horsham, West Sussex, is seeking a Housing Support Specialist to join the Mental Health and Wellbeing Services team. This fixed-term contract offers 37 hours per week with a salary of GBP 28,640 per year.

You will provide trauma-informed, flexible housing support to individuals who have experienced or are at risk of homelessness, managing your own caseload and delivering one-to-one sessions and life-skills interventions. Induction and training are provided.

Qualifications

• A personalised care approach conveying empathy and understanding.
• An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be paid for by the employer.

Responsibilities

• Provide flexible, trauma-informed housing support, focusing on each person's needs.
• Hold a client caseload and deliver one-to-one support sessions and life skills.
• Provide in-person, short-term tenancy support for people at risk of homelessness.
• Full induction and training provided.
