Qualifications

• Essential criteria require a teaching qualification recognized to teach in grant-aided schools in Northern Ireland.
• Two years’ paid teaching experience in a Primary School.
• Knowledge of Nurture principles, ACEs and trauma-informed practice.
• Understanding of pastoral care and promoting positive behaviour.
• Awareness of diverse teaching strategies for different needs and SEN.

Responsabilités

• Promote positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents and coordinate nurture activities.
• Plan, deliver and assess lessons using varied approaches to meet all learners’ needs.
• Lead and support a Nurture Classroom Assistant and manage workload planning.
• Uphold safeguarding, child protection policies and school ethos.
