Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ demonstrable paid experience of teaching in Foundation Stage to achieve positive learning outcomes.
• Experience using a range of effective classroom strategies to provide support and challenge children and young people of all abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs.
• Experience of using digital media/technology to enhance teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Planning and preparing courses and lessons; teaching according to pupils' educational needs; setting and marking work.
• Promoting the progress and well-being of pupils; advising and guiding with educational and social matters; recording and reporting.
• Participating in staff development and professional development; reviewing teaching methods and programmes of work; assisting with curriculum development.
