Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Northern Ireland Curriculum.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policy.
• Awareness of the SEND Code of Practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare lessons and courses.
• Teach according to pupils' educational needs and assess their progress.
• Maintain records and report on pupil development and attainment.
• Provide guidance and support to pupils and communicate with parents and staff.
• Contribute to school development and teamwork.
