Job summary

Elementa Support Services is recruiting a 1-year fixed-term 1:1 Learning Support Mentor ASD/ASC, SEMH for a Bristol location. The role offers 9:30am–3:30pm hours, with a 60-day trial leading to permanent contracts.

The candidate will support primary and secondary pupils with EHCPs, delivering an alternative education curriculum and safeguarding with a strong, positive role-model approach. Experience with SEMH, ASC/ASD and trauma is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with learners who have SEMH and related needs.
• Able to respond to and create learning activities for individual learners.
• Willingness to undertake safeguarding training and drive positive behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an alternative education curriculum to SEMH learners.
• Identify emotional and educational needs and plan appropriate activities.
• Engage with parents to support behaviour and boundaries at home.
• Support students through transitions and progression within the provision.
