Elementa Support Services seeks a 1:1 Learning Support Mentor ASD/ASC, SEMH in Bristol. This full-time role is a temp-perm contract via a 60-day trial, working 9:30am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday. Salary £18,000–£22,000 p.a.

Start September 2026. Role involves supporting pupils with EHCPs in SEMH, delivering an adapted curriculum and safeguarding with a strong emphasis on behaviour support. The position offers training, progression within the organisation, and a DBS/background-check process through

Qualifications

• Experience with learners who have SEMH and trauma.
• Ability to deliver an alternative education curriculum.
• Awareness of ASC/ ASD needs and safeguarding.
• Willingness to undertake Team Teach / THRIVE training if offered.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an alternative education curriculum tailored to individual learners.
• Engage and involve parents to support behaviour and boundaries at home.
• Assess emotional and educational needs and run appropriate activities.
