Job summary

YMCA DLG is seeking a Supported Housing Support Worker in Hastings to manage a caseload of residents aged 16-25 and develop personalised support plans. The role focuses on budgeting, life skills, wellbeing and independent living, with a trauma-informed approach.

You will work with a dedicated team to provide consistent, high-quality support, maintain records, and promote safeguarding. The service is located near the seafront with good local links.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing or supported accommodation is preferred.
• Strong ability to maintain records and case notes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of residents and meet weekly to build a support plan.
• Support with budgeting, life and employment skills, and wellbeing.
• Keep client records up-to-date in In-Form and document progress.
• Ensure safeguarding and trauma-informed practice in all interactions.
