Job summary

YMCA DownsLink Group in Brighton and Hove is seeking a Supported Housing Support Worker to manage a caseload of residents and develop weekly support plans. The role involves enforcing occupancy rules, promoting rent payments, and safeguarding with trauma-informed practice.

You will work on a 37.5-hour week on-site, on a seven-day rolling rota and join a team dedicated to helping young people move to independent living. This is a full-time permanent position.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing or supported accommodation, ideally supporting young people with multiple and complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Hold a caseload of residents and meet weekly to build a support plan.
• Support young people to understand occupancy agreements and rent obligations.
• Maintain safeguarding and trauma-informed practice; follow policies and boundaries.
• Record client progress in the designated system and maintain accurate notes.
