Job summary

Southdown is seeking a Housing Support Specialist in Crawley, West Sussex, to work with a multi-agency team supporting people at risk of homelessness or experiencing homelessness. You’ll provide trauma-informed, person-centred housing support and maintain a client caseload.

The role offers full induction and training, with a mix of shifts: 37 hours per week and 22.5 hours per week, pro rata salary of £28,640 per year to reflect part-time hours.

Qualifications

• A personalised care approach, with empathy and understanding.
• An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which will be paid for by Southdown.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, short-term tenancy support for people at risk of homelessness or living in temporary accommodation.
• Hold a client caseload and provide trauma-informed housing support through one-to-one sessions and life skills interventions.
• Full induction and training provided for all successful candidates.
