Job summary

Single Homeless Project (SHP) is seeking a passionate worker for their Camden Housing First service, expanding to support people with long histories of rough sleeping and complex needs. Based from King's Cross, you’ll carry a small caseload delivering flexible, person-centred support tailored to each person’s strengths and goals, within a trauma-informed framework.

You’ll collaborate with housing partners, health teams and specialist colleagues, building trust and safeguarding while promoting

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people facing multiple disadvantage, including homelessness, trauma or substance use.
• Ability to build trust with people who may be wary of services.
• Understanding of trauma-informed, safeguarding-focused approaches.
• Strong written and IT skills to manage caseloads and updating systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide flexible, person-centred support across community and home visits.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team with partners and health services.
• Focus on housing sustainment, wellbeing, risk, choice and recovery.
