Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience working directly with children, young people, and families in a social care, family support, early help, or safeguarding environment.
• Experience undertaking assessments and developing support plans.

Responsibilities

• Undertake comprehensive assessments to identify the needs, strengths, and risks affecting children, young people, and their families.
• Deliver targeted family support interventions using a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach.
• Build positive and professional relationships with children, young people, parents, carers, and wider family networks.
• Support children to remain safely within their family environment wherever possible.
• Develop, implement, and review family support plans to achieve agreed outcomes.
• Conduct home visits and provide practical support to families in community settings.
