Job summary

Caritas Futures, in partnership with a leading Domestic Abuse service, is recruiting compassionate Domestic Violence Support Workers for Crowborough, Seaford and Bexhill-on-Sea. You will provide practical and emotional support to survivors, helping families rebuild safe lives within refuges and community settings.

You will complete risk and needs assessments, develop safety and support plans, and work with partner agencies to secure positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic abuse, safeguarding and client support is essential.
• Ability to perform risk and needs assessments and to develop safety plans.
• Strong communication and case management skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Providing practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic abuse
• Completing risk and needs assessments
• Developing and reviewing safety and support plans
• Supporting clients within refuge and community-based services
• Carrying out welfare checks and key-working sessions
• Working closely with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes
• Promoting independence, wellbeing, and recovery
