Job summary

Nottinghamshire Women’s Aid Ltd is seeking a part-time post to provide high quality support to women experiencing medium risk domestic abuse. The role involves flexible, creative, and innovative approaches, including some complex case work, with close liaison to the Police and other agencies.

The post requires a satisfactory enhanced DBS check and is run by women for women, with duties at The Partnership Hub & Hickling House in Mansfield and The Farr Centre in Worksop, Notts.

Responsibilities

• The post holder will provide a high quality support service to women experiencing medium risk domestic abuse with a focus on methods that are flexible, creative and innovative.
• Supporting women experiencing medium risk domestic abuse to make long term positive and sustainable changes in their lives and recover from the harm of domestic abuse.
• Ensuring close liaison with the Police and other agencies and services to ensure holistic and joined up service delivery.
• Working to support women receiving Sanctuary measures and DVDS disclosures from the police.
