Job summary

Securitas UK is recruiting a Support Worker to provide community-based mental health support in the Crawley area. You will work with individuals to implement personalised plans, promoting independence and safety in their own homes.

You will collaborate with clinical teams, document changes, attend training, and develop trauma-informed, recovery-focused care skills while maintaining compassionate, person-centred support across a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

Essential qualifications include strong communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, reliability, and a willingness to learn and work flexibly within a community setting.
Previous experience in social care or mental health support is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

Provide personalised, community-based support to individuals with complex mental health needs, promoting independence within their own homes.
Work closely with clients to implement and review tailored care plans, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clinical professionals, to deliver trauma-informed and recovery-focused care.
Maintain accurate records and report any changes in client condition or concerns promptly.
Participate in ongoing training to develop skills in mental health support and person-centred approaches.
