Job summary

Leaders in Care is recruiting an ambitious Ofsted Registered Manager to lead a North London children's home. You’ll drive trauma-informed, therapeutic care for ages 7-17, ensuring safety, compliance and outstanding outcomes while building a strong, capable team.

With hybrid working and a comprehensive package, you’ll have the autonomy to shape services from the ground up and advance to senior roles as the provider expands across London.

Qualifications

• At least five years' experience working with children in residential care.
• At least two years' supervisory or management-level experience.
• Experience supporting children with LD and/or emotional/behavioural needs.
• Proven track record of achieving a Good Ofsted outcome.
• Strong safeguarding, staff leadership, care planning and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of a children’s residential home in North London.
• Build and retain a motivated, child‑focused staff team.
• Act as Safeguarding Lead and uphold children's welfare first.
• Deliver trauma-informed, high-quality care and outcomes.
• Ensure full Ofsted compliance and adherence to Children’s Homes Regulations 2015.
• Oversee admissions, transitions, care planning, risk management and records.
• Support young people’s independence, education, health and wellbeing.
• Develop professional relationships with families, social workers and schools.
• Drive quality assurance, audits and inspection readiness.
• Help shape culture and growth of new services.
