Job summary

XPO Logistics in Crick is recruiting a Transport Supervisor to join our growing site. This role offers development opportunities and a clear path to advance your career within a dynamic logistics environment.

You will coordinate transport operations, work with on-site customers, ensure safety, report defects, and drive continuous improvements while maintaining compliance with working time regulations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of SAP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate the transport operations on site and on customer premises to meet both customer and company expectations.
• Work closely with the onsite customer ensuring all operational requirements are met.
• Maintain a health and safety presence on site and challenge noncompliance.
• Ensure vehicle defects are reported and actioned in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all drivers are compliant with the working time directive regulations and that any accidents/incidents are investigated in a timely manner.
• Continually look to improve the service we provide offering ideas and recommendations as necessary.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

What You Need To Succeed At XPO

• Excellent communication skills – you’ll be speaking regularly with various stakeholders
• Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook
• Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.
