Job summary

Ricoh UK is seeking a driven supply chain professional to optimise European operations and 3rd party logistics. You will manage orders, support complaints, and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Collaboration with service providers and internal teams will be key to sustaining performance and cost efficiency. The role focuses on leading change, delivering project outcomes, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience within a European supply chain including third party logistics management.
• Strong project management and commercial awareness.
• Ability to manage change and culture within teams.
• Analytical mindset to assess current operations and future needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and negotiation at peer level.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of company orders to meet customer demand and deadlines.
• Support complaints process to resolve issues promptly and improve satisfaction.
• Support reverse logistics programs while minimising costs and maintaining SLAs.
• Foster workforce engagement within Supply Chain Operations through coaching.

• Coordinate revenue recognition for customer orders with accurate data in the system.
• Interface with clients to communicate processes and negotiate costs for value-added services.

What you will be doing

• To facilitate the delivery of Company orders to meet customer demand and maintain customer satisfaction by meeting customer agreed delivery dates.
• To support internal and external complaints process to ensure complaints are acknowledge and resolved within a timely manor to improve customer satisfaction
• To support a synchronised reverse logistics programme with project deployments ensuring costs are minimised, and customer satisfaction / SLA’s are maintained
• Support the creation and maintenance of an engaged workforce within the Supply Chain Operations teams through coaching and development to promote a positive work culture to meet the current and future needs of the business.
• To build strong relationships with service providers to ensure the supply chain is continually developed in line with the departmental company strategy.
• To drive and maintain a culture of continuous improvement through innovation and commercial awareness to enhance the customer experience and financial performances.
• To facilitate the process for revenue recognition from all customer orders on a daily basis ensuring a TMS system’s data integrity reflects physical product flow.
• Client interfacing to communicate supply chain processes and negotiate costs related to value added services
• To lead departmental projects to enhance SCM performance

You will ideally have

• Good knowledge and experience within a European Supply Chain including experience of 3rd party logistics management including associated systems
• Good project management skills and strong commercial awareness.
• Ability to adopt and embrace the management of change and culture
• Ability to analyse current operation and future procedural requirements.
• Strong relationship skills with customers and service providers with the ability to network and negotiate at peer level.
• Excellent people skills – ability to lead, inspire, develop, coach, motivate.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for Senior Mgt level and Customer communications
• Good knowledge and experience of Performance Measurements
• Proven track record on Customer focus and understanding of requirements (both internal and external)
