Job summary

Culina Group is recruiting a Transport Shift Manager for our Chilled & Fresh division in the UK. The role operates 3 on/3 off nights from 19:00 to 07:00, managing depot transport staff to deliver products to customers within service levels.

You will ensure fleet availability, compliance with regulations, develop the team, monitor KPIs, manage transport budgets and fuel costs, and drive continuous improvement while reducing the carbon footprint across road miles.

• Strong leadership and team development abilities.
• Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage depot Transport staff to execute traffic plans and meet service levels.
• Ensure fleet is available and declared for planning.
• Motivate and develop the team through training and development plans.
• Ensure all staff are trained and equipped.
• Maintain transport budget and fuel management.
• Support service improvements with customers and other areas.
