Job summary

Culina is seeking a Transport Shift Manager to lead the depot shift in our Chilled & Fresh division. You will coach the team, manage transport plans and ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance on nights in a 4 on/4 off cycle.

You will motivate staff, coordinate with planning and 3rd party hauliers, monitor KPIs, and support continuous improvement initiatives to optimise cost, service and carbon footprint across the operation.

Qualifications

• Experience managing transport operations within FMCG/retail logistics.
• Ability to coach and develop depot staff.
• Sound knowledge of transport regulations and health and safety.
• Experience in budget and KPI monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage the transport shift to meet service levels.
• Coordinate fleet availability to support planning.
• Lead and develop the transport team through training and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with statutes and regulations.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
