Culina is seeking a Transport Supervisor to lead the night traffic operations and driver teams in our Chilled & Fresh division, ensuring efficient planning and safe, compliant operations.

You will manage vehicle utilisation, coordinate with sub-contractors and agency drivers, and drive service levels while adhering to drivers hours and health & safety rules. The role is based on a 4 on, 3 off shift pattern with 19:00–07:00 start times.

Qualifications

• LGV driving licence is desirable.
• Experience of fleet maintenance.
• Knowledge and experience of FMCG environment.
• Current CPC would be advantageous.
• Experience of vehicle servicing and maintenance within a similar environment.
• Good knowledge of vehicle mechanics.
• Thoroughness/attention to detail.
• Able to work effectively in a team.
• Good communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Plan the effective utilisation of drivers, vehicles, sub-contractors and agency drivers and ensure all company sites are considered.
• Ensure drivers hours regulations are followed and that work is carried out in a safe environment.
• Communicate effectively with drivers and sub-contractors and management to discuss efficiencies and best practices.
• Monitor RDC performance and support balance between own fleet and sub-contractor needs.
• Ensure all vehicle and trailer services are completed on time and ESP tasks are completed daily.
• Assist in meetings or customer reviews and on occasion cover Transport Shift Manager.
