Job summary

Winner Recruitment is seeking an experienced 360 HGV Recruiter to join our busy team. You will manage 50+ HGV driver vacancies, oversee sourcing, interviews and onboarding from start to finish, and ensure compliance and Right to Work checks are completed.

The role is hybrid with regular travel to client sites, and requires strong sourcing, interviewing and stakeholder management skills to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage 50+ HGV driver vacancies concurrently.
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment from sourcing to onboarding.
• Source candidates via job boards, databases, social media and other channels.
• Screen and shortlist candidates against role requirements.
• Conduct telephone and face-to-face interviews.
• Keep candidates engaged throughout the process.
• Perform Right to Work checks and verify eligibility.
• Verify and maintain HGV driving licence checks.
• Carry out recruitment and compliance checks.
• Prepare and issue contracts and recruitment documents.
• Coordinate candidate onboarding and documentation.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and update systems.
• Monitor licence, document and compliance expiry dates.
• Liaise with candidates, clients and teams during process.
• Meet recruitment deadlines and provide progress updates.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour
Working Pattern: Hybrid - regular travel to our client's office/site is required

We are recruiting for an experienced 360 HGV Recruiter to join our client's busy and fast-paced recruitment team based in B69 4DA.

This is a high-volume, end-to-end recruitment position, responsible for managing the full recruitment process for HGV drivers. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling 50+ HGV driver vacancies at any one time, sourcing suitable candidates, conducting interviews, completing compliance checks and managing candidates through to onboarding.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience recruiting HGV drivers, be confident working in a high-volume environment and have strong knowledge of recruitment and compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing 50+ HGV driver vacancies at any one time
• Managing the full 360 recruitment process from sourcing through to onboarding
• Proactively sourcing HGV driver candidates through job boards, databases, social media and other recruitment channels
• Screening and shortlisting candidates against role requirements
• Conducting telephone and face-to-face interviews
• Managing candidates throughout the recruitment process and keeping them engaged
• Completing Right to Work checks and ensuring candidates meet all eligibility requirements
• Completing and maintaining HGV driving licence checks
• Carrying out all required recruitment and compliance checks
• Preparing and issuing contracts and relevant recruitment documentation
• Coordinating candidate onboarding and ensuring all required documentation is completed
• Maintaining accurate candidate records and updating internal recruitment systems
• Ensuring candidate and compliance data is accurate and up to date
• Monitoring licence, document and compliance expiry dates
• Liaising with candidates, clients and internal teams throughout the recruitment process
• Managing a high volume of vacancies and candidates while meeting recruitment deadlines and targets
• Providing regular updates on recruitment progress, candidate pipelines and vacancies

What We're Looking For:

• Previous recruitment experience is essential
• Proven experience managing high-volume HGV driver recruitment
• Experience managing the full 360 recruitment process
• Confident sourcing and attracting HGV driver candidates
• Experience conducting candidate interviews and assessments
• Experience completing Right to Work and driving licence checks
• Strong understanding of recruitment compliance and onboarding
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage 50+ vacancies simultaneously
• Confident using recruitment databases, job boards, Microsoft Office and internal recruitment systems
• Target-driven, proactive and able to work independently
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced recruitment environment
• Must be able and willing to commute to our client's office/site as required for this hybrid position
