Job summary

Menzies Distribution Solutions is looking for an experienced Transport Planning Administrator to join our Central Planning Centre in Normanton, Wakefield. You will support the smooth running of the operation, reporting to the Planning Centre Manager, and maintain accurate KPI reporting and system processes within the transport planning environment.

We value strong administrator skills, excellent communication, meticulous data handling and a professional telephone manner as you will be the point

Qualifications

• Good communication skills essential; empathy with customers.
• Strong knowledge of TMS systems and related portals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication required.
• Experience in report writing and KPI reporting for Planning Centre.

Responsibilities

• Be point of contact for customer and depot delivery queries.
• Ensure queries are handled promptly and professionally.
• Support planning team with system processes and KPI reporting.
• Maintain TMS and pallet network portals; apply costs to orders.
• Foster relationships across network sites and escalate issues when needed.
• Support Continuous Improvement processes to enhance performance and safety.
