Job summary

Time Appointments is seeking a Transport Planner to join a growing, reputable company and play a pivotal role within the business. You will coordinate daily logistics and driver communications to ensure smooth operations.

The role operates Monday to Friday, 6:00am–6:00pm, with occasional Saturday mornings and an out-of-hours rota. Candidates should have UK legislation knowledge, strong data entry skills, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a Logistics
• Good understanding of UK legislation or a desire to learn
• Highly motivated with excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation
• Proven track record to input data efficiently and effectively

Responsibilities

• Updating and maintaining computer system to ensure administrative tasks are completed
• Ensure orders and reports are completed within an efficient timeframe
• Briefing and de-briefing drivers daily to ensure they are informed
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure
• Have an understanding and working knowledge of the UK legislations
