Job summary

TIME Appointments Ltd is seeking a Transport Planner to play a pivotal role in the business, coordinating transport tasks and ensuring efficient operation from 6:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will maintain systems, handle orders and reports, and support drivers with daily briefing and de-briefing while ensuring compliance with UK regulations. Flexibility for occasional Saturday work may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a logistics environment.
• Good understanding of UK legislation or a desire to learn.
• Highly motivated with excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation.
• Proven track record to input data efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Updating and maintaining computer system to ensure all administrative tasks are completed.
• Ensure orders and reports are completed within an efficient timeframe.
• Briefing and de-briefing drivers daily to ensure they are informed.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure.
• Have an understanding and working knowledge of the UK legislations.
