Job summary

Premier Work Support is seeking a Transport Planner to join a fast-paced transport and logistics company near Epping. You will coordinate collections and deliveries, ensure efficient routes, and maintain compliance with driver hours and transport legislation.

Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will manage driver communication, liaise with customers and subcontractors, optimise fleet utilisation and carry out administrative tasks.

Job description

Our client, a fast paced transport and logistics Company have an urgent position for a Transport Planner to join their team on a permanent basis in their offices close to Epping.

As a Transport Planner you will be responsible for coordinating collections and deliveries, ensuring routes are efficient and cost effective while maintaining compliance with driver hours and transport legislation.

You will also work closely with drivers, customers and subcontractors to manage schedules, resolve delays and optimise fleet utilisation.

This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, transport systems knowledge and the ability to work under pressure.
