Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking an experienced Transport Planner in Chepstow to support the Contract Manager and Shift Manager with daily transport operations. You will plan routes and allocate deliveries, build driver schedules, and help maximise vehicle utilisation.

Responsibilities include communicating with customers, resolving delivery issues, coordinating a drivers team, and ensuring safe, efficient transport activities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Transport Operator, Transport Planner, or similar transport office role.
• Experience supporting and managing drivers.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and solve problems quickly.

Transport Planner

Location: Chepstow, NP16 6UP

Pay Rate: £14.42 per hour

Shifts: Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern of 06:00-15:00 and 11:00-20:00

We are looking for an experienced Transport Planner to support the Contract Manager and Shift Manager with the day-to-day running of a busy transport operation. This role is ideal for someone with previous transport office experience who is confident managing driver activities, planning vehicle movements, and ensuring excellent customer service.
