Job summary

Sunblink Ltd-GRN in Belfast is seeking a Transport Planner with a background in logistics to join our busy operation serving the UK and Ireland.

As a Transport Planner you will schedule drivers, manage daily routes, and ensure compliance with tachograph rules and working time directives while delivering high levels of customer service.

The role offers progression opportunities and training as part of a growing transport firm.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport planning and scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of EU Tachograph Regulations and Working Time Directive.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good geographical knowledge of UK & Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily work schedule and routing for drivers across GB and Ireland.
• Accommodate additional customer orders efficiently on a daily basis.
• Ensure that drivers hours are effectively managed and compliant.
• Ensure all operations are carried out in accordance with legal, environmental and company policies.
• Bring to the attention of the Management any complaints from both customers and drivers.

The Role
