Job summary

Grn Search Group in Dungannon is seeking an experienced Transport Planner to schedule drivers, optimise routes and manage daily operations across bulk, tank and general haulage. The role focuses on compliance with EU tachograph regulations and efficient fleet utilisation.

You will work within a close-knit transport team, with opportunities for progression into leadership roles and ongoing training. A modern, collaborative environment supports long-term development in the Northern Ireland market.

Qualifications

• Transport planning experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of EU tachograph rules and WTD.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment.
• TM CPC is advantageous but not compulsory.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily work schedule and routing for drivers
• Accommodate additional customer orders efficiently on a daily basis
• Ensure operations comply with legal, environmental and company policies
• Collaborate with Fleet Maintenance to ensure vehicles are maintained
• Work Monday to Friday, Saturdays on rotation

Are you an experienced Transport Planner? Are you looking for an opportunity to progress your career into aSeniorrole?

Working alongside the existing Transport team, you will be planning across a variety of sectors including bulk, tank & general haulage. Managing the fleet & trailer usage and complying with EU tachograph laws is essential and a sound geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland would be beneficial.

Working within a close-knit team, you will have the opportunity to be part of a highly efficient operation that focuseson exceeding customer expectations whilst also gaining the opportunity for further career growth. Over time, this role will develop into a Transport/Operations Management position.

If have a good understanding of EU Tachograph Regulations, WTD and excel in a constantly challenging environment, this is a great opportunity to join a growing transport firm, that will develop their staff with long term career options.

The Role:
