About Our Client

Our client is a leading logistics provider.

Job Description

The Transport Operations Manager will lead a team of Supervisors, Drivers and Clerical colleagues to ensure delivery, productivity and financial performance indicators are met in order to provide best in class service to our client's customer. Based at the operation in Dartford, key responsibilities will include:

• Deliver transport fleet management and compliance, upskilling colleagues with transportation safety/compliance.
• Oversee performance delivery ensuring a high level of NPS/customer feedback is achieved.
• Ensure all product returns, stock debriefs are achieved.
• Deliver and track on transport KPIS/SLAs.
• Encourage team engagement, development and coaching, including encouragement of two-way feedback and ideas within the team to continuously focus on best-in-class delivery and improvement.
• Internal and external stakeholder communication, including meetings with the customer.
• Drive innovation and high performance through high levels of safe working and practises.
• Ensure H&S delivery and regulations are adhered to.
• Assist with driver hours in line with legislations, along with the organisation of service and maintenance of vehicles.
• Ensure vehicle and driver records are managed in line with legislations and best practises.
• Point of liaison for escalation and incident reports.

• International or National CPC holder.
