Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking a Transport Supervisor in Cheltenham to own daily transport operations, ensuring safe and compliant deliveries and collections. You will lead fleet movements, manage drivers and subcontractors, and work with the Head of Transport to enhance service levels from a Cheltenham base.

The role is full-time, on-site with typical Monday–Friday hours, offering a competitive salary and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Transport Supervisor, Transport Planner, or Logistics Supervisor role.
• Strong planning background with experience managing transport operations.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily scheduling and routing of vehicles to maximise efficiency.
• Manage and monitor employed drivers and subcontracted transport providers.
• Coordinate deliveries and collections to meet operational requirements.
• Maintain fleet compliance and drive continuous improvements across transport operations.
• Produce reports on fleet utilisation, transport performance and costs.
