Job summary

Staffline is seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor in Cheltenham to manage transport operations for their market-leading logistics client. In this hands-on role, you will ensure efficient delivery of specialist equipment across the UK while maximizing fleet compliance and operational standards.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing vehicle scheduling, managing drivers, and maintaining high service levels for customers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Transport Supervisor, Logistics Supervisor, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of UK transport legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing drivers and subcontracted transport providers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily vehicle scheduling and route planning.
• Manage compliance with transport legislation.
• Source and manage subcontracted transport providers.
• Coordinate deliveries and collections.
• Produce reports on fleet utilisation and performance.
• Monitor transport KPIs and implement improvements.
