Job summary

Musgrave is seeking a Transport Line Manager to Belfast on site, responsible for planning, directing and coordinating day-to-day transport operations and leading the Transport team to deliver a high-quality service to stores.

You will ensure compliance with transport legislation, driver hours, tachographs, HACCP, and budget targets, while building strong relationships with stakeholders and developing a strategic plan with senior management.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English required.
• 3+ years in national logistics with multiple weekly deliveries.
• 1+ year managing a large team in transport operations.
• Transport Managers CPC National & International qualification current.
• Knowledge of HS and HACCP processes.
• Experience with budgets and KPI reporting.
• Strong PC literacy with Excel and office software.
• Experience with Stratum and CSNX is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the Transport team.
• Organise, plan and manage day-to-day transport operations.
• Ensure compliance with transport legislation and procedures (tachograph, Digi card, fleet management).
• Maintain safety, health and welfare at work for staff.
• Engage stakeholders to maintain a flexible team approach.
• Prepare annual budgetary considerations for transport and drivers.
• Develop strategic plans for the transport function with senior management.
