Job summary

Musgrave is seeking a Transport Operational Support to bolster our warehouse and transport schedule. The role involves handling queries from customers and drivers, coordinating daily planning activities, and inputting data for KPI reporting.

You will monitor fuel usage, oversee fleet maintenance, and be flexible to cover additional duties as needed. The position requires good geography knowledge and proficiency with Outlook and Excel; shift work includes weekend rotation.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management and transport operations.
• Good geographical knowledge and planning abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel for data input and reporting.
• Willingness to adapt and cover additional duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide transport support to the warehouse and transport schedule.
• Respond to customer and driver queries.
• Carry out duties in the Transport office/planning function.
• Organise and manage daily planning elements.
• Input data for KPI reports.
• Monitor fuel on MPG/MCS systems.
• Manage scheduled fleet maintenance.
• Be willing to substitute for development.
• Perform other duties as required.

What you`ll be doing:

• Provide transport support to the warehouse and to the transport schedule
• Deal with customer & driver queries
• Undertake other duties within the Transport office / planning function as required
• Organising and managing specific elements of the planning function daily.
• Accurate data input for use in compilation of KPI reports
• Fuel Monitoring on an MPG file and/or MCS system
• Management of scheduled maintenance for fleet
• Willingness to substitute for development
• Any other duties as and when required

Shift work is a requirement with Saturday work included 5 out of 7 on a rotational basis

• Good geographical knowledge
• Good working knowledge of SCM (OR EQUIVELENT WMS)
• Good knowledge of transport operations

Competent in Outlook & Excel

• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of warehouse operations
