Job summary

i4 Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Transport Operator in Shoeburyness, offering a full-time, permanent position with standard hours Mon-Fri. Salary £580 per week (£30,000 per annum) plus bonus up to £3,000. You will support the Transport department with compliance, records, and communications with customers and drivers.

The role covers PCN management, road tax, cost sheets, vehicle docs, and daily updates to customers and drivers to keep deliveries on track.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in transport or admin environment.
• Strong organisation and multitasking ability.
• High attention to detail in record keeping.
• Confident communication with customers and drivers.
• Self-motivated with good time management.
• Can-do approach to meeting targets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance docs, vehicle records and cost data.
• Log, process, and pay or challenge PCNs timely.
• Process road tax payments and renewals for fleet.
• Update and file vehicle service records and cost sheets in Excel.
• Provide driver and customer updates on delivery plans.
