Job summary

Movianto Bedford is seeking a Transport Operator to lead day-to-day transport operations with a focus on quality, health, safety and on-site compliance. You’ll ensure deliveries are processed and booked promptly, support drivers, and resolve issues using our IT systems.

The role runs Monday to Friday (37.5 hours) with a salary of £27,969.83 per annum and a benefits package including gym discounts, generous leave and pension contributions.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and multitasking in fast-paced environments.
• Good understanding of driver hours regulations and health & safety standards.
• Proficient in MS Office with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage scanning, manifesting, and tracking of daily deliveries in line with SOPs and compliance standards.
• Brief and debrief drivers using TMS and other systems; ensure paperwork is accurate.
• Resolve delivery and collection issues promptly and support drivers throughout routes.
• Deliver excellent customer service across all channels.
• Ensure DVSA and health & safety regulations compliance; manage inspections, MOTs, servicing, and incident reporting.
