Gregory Distribution Ltd invites applications for an enthusiastic Transport Operator to join our transport team. The role covers transport administration, driver management, and KPI reporting as part of a dynamic operations unit.

The position includes organising daily tasks, updating TMS systems, and working a 4on4off rota from 06:00 to 18:00. Applicants should have transport admin experience, solid UK geography knowledge, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport and logistics administration is desirable.
• Ability to communicate at all levels.
• Strong knowledge of UK geography.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise workloads.

Responsibilities

• Organising daily transport administration tasks, raising POs, scanning and filing transport information.
• Ensuring TMS jobs are correctly entered and up to date in internal systems.
• Conducting daily driver debriefs and supporting driver management.
• Maximising resource utilisation to ensure accurate scanning and filing.
• Handling queries via email, phone, and face-to-face; producing daily KPIs and statistics.
• Promoting teamwork and supporting colleagues.
• Collaborating with the team to drive efficient transport operations.
