Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Transport Administrator to support the Home Delivery team in Portbury, BS20 7XE. The role involves coordinating with delivery crews, maintaining records, and ensuring stock accuracy and vehicle condition.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, be highly organized, and proficient with Excel and transport systems. Shift patterns include early and late starts across five days out of seven.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and error-free work.
• IT literate, with good knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Excel.
• Experience using transport systems, Flexipod/Winsight, Vision, Telematics, with previous experience in logistics advantageous.
• Flexible, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle debriefs, ensuring stock accuracy and checking vehicle condition and cleanliness.
• Monitor and record daily equipment checks to maintain operational standards.
• Communicate key updates and information to delivery crews in a timely manner.
• Build positive working relationships and resolve issues professionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain accurate records and collaborate with transport, warehouse, and Health & Safety teams to support daily operations.
