Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Portbury, England, is recruiting a Transport Administrator to join our busy Home Delivery operation. You will conduct vehicle debriefs, maintain stock accuracy, and liaise with delivery crews to ensure smooth daily operations.

This full-time role is five days out of seven with early shift patterns and a salary of £27,210 per year, plus 25 days annual leave, pension, dental insurance and a range of employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• IT literate with experience using Excel and Microsoft packages.
• Experience using transport systems (Flexipod/Winsight, Vision, Telematics) is advantageous.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle debriefs, checking stock and vehicle condition.
• Monitor daily equipment checks to maintain standards.
• Communicate updates to delivery crews promptly.
• Build positive relationships and resolve issues in a fast-paced setting.
• Maintain records and support daily operations with transport, warehouse and Health & Safety teams.
