Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Transport Administrator in Birmingham to support the Transport operations and fleet management. The role focuses on planning routes, coordinating drivers and ensuring legal and safety compliance within the Service Centre network.

You will monitor driver performance, handle paperwork, and assist with reporting and payroll data. The position runs 40 hours per week, with early shifts, and offers exposure to a busy logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Transport procedures is advantageous.
• Familiarity with driver wage calculations is beneficial.
• Understand Health & Safety requirements for transport operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plan delivery schedules aligning with Service Centre and 3rd party needs.
• Communicate delays to customers and investigate missing parcels.
• Monitor temperature records for accuracy and compliance.
• Check driver timesheets and record trailer numbers and start times.
• Brief agency staff and issue necessary paperwork and passes.
• Ensure agency hours are recorded and submitted by deadlines.
• Analyze Tachograph data and prepare infringement reports.
• Update Fleet KPI with fuel, mileage and costs.
• Enter wage data from drivers’ timesheets daily and verify accuracy.
