Job summary

WS Solutions is seeking a meticulous Transport Administrator to join the Cannock depot. In this role you will support the transport operation with essential admin tasks, ensuring accurate documentation, compliant records and smooth day-to-day activities for drivers and planners.

You will collaborate with drivers, customers and internal teams, maintaining records, handling paperwork and updates across systems. A proactive, detail-oriented approach is essential in this busy transport environment.

Qualifications

• Previous administration experience in transport or logistics.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure.
• Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day admin support to the transport team.
• Maintain driver and vehicle records.
• Process delivery paperwork and transport documentation.
• Update internal systems with driver, vehicle and shift data.
• Liaise with drivers, customers and internal departments.
• Assist with driver onboarding and compliance docs.
• Support planning team with transport admin tasks.
• File, scan and maintain electronic records.
• Answer calls and emails professionally.
• Ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
