Job summary

Cleansing-Service-Group-Limited (CSG) is recruiting for a Transport/Logistics role in Bristol. The successful candidate will plan efficient vehicle routing for waste collections, manage driver resources, and ensure paperwork is completed accurately.

You will work with CPC holders to maintain transport compliance and support regional admin for smooth operations. We seek individuals with transport office experience, a background in the waste sector, and a valid CPC qualification.

• Holder of CPC Qualification and full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Follow and enact CSG Group H&S Policies.
• Plan efficient vehicle scheduling and routing of collections to maximise utilisation.
• Plan driver/operative resources for allocated areas.
• Complete all necessary paperwork for collections (paper and online).
• Collaborate with CPC Holder to ensure transport compliance, vehicle maintenance and drivers’ hours.
• Coordinate with regional administration for smooth transport administration.
• Provide high level of customer service to external and internal customers.
• Work with other managers to service transport requirements.
• Ensure training requirements for drivers are up to date and participate in on-call rota.
• Manage drivers including holidays, sickness, and team meetings; Produce financial reports for Transport manager/RBM.

Location: Bristol

Salary: £32,000.00 per annum

Role Type: Full-time (Monday - Friday)

Hours: 40 hours

Role Accountabilities:

• To follow and enact CSG Group H&S Policies
• To plan efficient & cost-effective vehicle scheduling & routing of collections to maximise utilisation.
• To plan efficient driver/operative resources for allocated areas.
• Complete all necessary paperwork for collections both in paper form and online.
• To work with the CPC Holder to ensure full transport compliance is achieved, including vehicle maintenance and driver’s hours.
• To work with regional administration to ensure smooth transport administration is delivered.
• Provide a high level of customer service to external & internal customers.
• Work with the other managers in the business to service their transport requirements.
• Ensure all training requirements for drivers are up to date.
• Required to be part of an on-call rota.
• Manage drivers including completing team meetings, managing holiday and sickness.
• Produce financial reports for Transport manager/RBM.

The Candidate:

• Commitment to compliance with CSG’s Health & Safety standards
• Strong organisational skills & attention to detail
• Competent in the use of computer systems
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
• Experience of working in a transport office
• Experience of working in the waste sector
• Familiarity with Salesforce or Field Service or similar work planning systems
• Holder of CPC Qualification or willingness to gain this.
• Full UK driving licence
