Job summary

CSG Botley depot invites applications for a full-time Transport/Logistics role. You will plan vehicle scheduling, route collections, and allocate driver resources, ensuring compliance and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Holder of CPC Qualification or willingness to gain this.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or Field Service or similar planning systems.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan efficient vehicle scheduling and routing to maximise utilisation.
• Plan driver/operative resources for allocated areas.
• Complete paperwork for collections in paper and online formats.
• Ensure transport compliance with CPC Holder and vehicle maintenance.
• Collaborate with regional administration for transport admin.
• Provide high level customer service to external and internal customers.
• Manage drivers, holidays and sickness; run team meetings.
• Produce financial reports for Transport manager/RBM.

Role Accountabilities

• To follow and enact CSG Group H&S Policies
• To plan efficient & cost-effective vehicle scheduling & routing of collections to maximise utilisation.
• To plan efficient driver/operative resources for allocated areas.
• Complete all necessary paperwork for collections both in paper form and online.
• To work with the CPC Holder to ensure full transport compliance is achieved, including vehicle maintenance and driver’s hours.
• To work with regional administration to ensure smooth transport administration is delivered.
• Provide a high level of customer service to external & internal customers.
• Work with the other managers in the business to service their transport requirements.
• Ensure all training requirements for drivers are up to date.
• Required to be part of an on-call rota.
• Manage drivers including completing team meetings, managing holiday and sickness.
• Produce financial reports for Transport manager/RBM.
