Job summary

Cleansing Service Group Ltd in Coventry is seeking an experienced HGV driver to join our team. The role involves collecting industrial and sewage waste, operating our tanker, and delivering excellent service to long-serving customers across the Midlands.

You must hold a Class 2 HGV licence, Digi-card and CPC, be flexible, willing to travel and occasional night outs. We offer 40 hours per week plus overtime, a competitive hourly rate, and benefits including health care.

Qualifications

• HGV class 2 licence required.
• Digi-card and CPC qualification needed.
• Experience in waste management is desirable but training provided.

Location: Coventry

Salary: £15.50 per hour

Role Type: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: 40 hours per week (+ overtime)

• Call-out payments: (£63.60 - Monday - Friday inclusive) ( £79.75 - Saturdays & Sundays only)

Role Accountabilities:

• Collecting Industrial & Sewage waste.
• Will be expected to be flexible to work throughout the midlands region as per needs of the business.
• Operating our tanker with skill and necessary safety awareness.
• Forming part of our on-call rota, completing out of hours emergency work.
• Working together with our transport depot to deliver excellent service to our long serving customers.

The Candidate:

• Enthusiastic and committed to delivering quality customer service.
• Experienced HGV driver who enjoys working independently.
• HGV class 2 licence.
• Digi-card and current CPC qualification.
• Experience in the waste management industry desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
• ADR & confined space desirable but can be trained.
• Willing to travel.
• Willing to night out where required.
• Must be flexible.
