Job summary

Culfing Service Group Ltd is seeking motivated individuals to join our team in Aylesford as full-time driver trainees. You will undergo an intensive training programme, learn to operate waste management equipment safely, and work toward becoming competent vehicle operators.

Qualifications

• Driving Licence is required.
• Experience providing a service to customers is advantageous.
• A desire to work in a team and build a career.
• Exposure to manual work and lifting.
• Ability to follow operating procedures and learn quickly.
• Learn to drive and operate equipment per regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete the training programme to achieve required competency.
• Demonstrate skills development throughout the training.
• Undergo HGV driver training at the required stage.
• Operate waste management equipment in a professional and legal manner.
• Maintain standards of performance and ensure safe, legal operations.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist the driver operator as needed.

Role Accountabilities:

• Undertaking the necessary training programme to ensure competency.
• Demonstrating satisfactory skills development throughout the training programme.
• Undertaking HGV driver training at the required stage within the training programme.
• Operating waste management equipment in a professional and legal manner.
• Achieving required standards of performance in regard to jobs per days, cleanliness of operations.
• Ensuring all activities are carried out in a safe and legal manner.
• Be aware of, understand and achieve required standards of performance.
• Deal with Customers in a manner that retains their loyalty to the Company and delivers an outstanding service.
• Aid the relevant Driver Operative to ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner that does not negatively impact human health, the environment or public amenity.
• Raise any issues, problems or concerns with your Line Manager at the earliest opportunity.
• Be courteous and respectful to Customers at all times.
• Abide by all Customer on-site rules and regulations.Follow instructions on each work ticket.
• Help the driver operator to feed-back to the office any additional customer requirements.

The Candidate:

• Driving Licence
• Experience of providing a service to customers.
• A desire to work as part of a team and to work hard towards building a career.
• Exposure to manual work and lifting.
• Learn and demonstrate ability to follow operating procedures intelligently.
• Learn to drive and operate equipment as per road and company regulations.
• Learn to and assist the driver operator to carry and use the correct equipment to achieve the work required.
