Igloo is recruiting for a Transport Coordinator for one of our clients based in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire.

Our client has a longstanding background in the automotive industry, providing a wide range of transport and logistics solutions.

We are looking for someone experienced in the transport sector who would be interested in joining their transport team.

The Role:

1. Briefing and debriefing HGV drivers
2. Dealing with drivers while they are out on runs
3. Checking vehicles back into the yard with the driver to ensure there is no damage
4. Communicating with customers regarding any delays or issues with the runs
5. Coordinating with vehicle repair companies when needed
6. Assisting in planning HGV drivers' schedules
7. Organizing paperwork for drivers
