Job summary

DPD UK is recruiting a Compliance Clerk to strengthen our compliance team within the Transport operation. You will support the Compliance Controllers in monitoring legal compliance for all department and agency HGV drivers, ensuring adherence to company policies.

Key tasks include auditing agency documentation, investigating missing mileage, managing driver and vehicle data, and providing accurate information to traffic teams to drive continuous improvement while filing paperwork correctly.

Qualifications

• Experience with Google Documents and managing large amounts of data.
• Analytical, data-focused, highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Experience of working in a fast paced environment.
• Previous knowledge of Transport Compliance would be advantageous but training will be given.

Responsibilities

• Investigate missing mileage to ensure Transport meet targets.
• Complete checks for Time Right and Lead in with large data sets for agency and employed drivers.
• Complete audits of agency documentation.
• Ensure drivers cards and vehicles are downloaded in line with legal and company requirements.
• Manage a large amount of data entry to maintain driver and vehicle compliance.
• Provide correct and reliable information to the traffic teams to manage driver and vehicle compliance.
• Identify trends and highlight these to relevant managers within the Transport Department.
• Assist with completing peers and senior management tasks during sickness and annual leave.
