Job summary

DPD is looking for a Transport Clerk in Carlisle to join the Traffic office team. You will track routes, ensure drivers are on duty, and coordinate with hub and network operations to maintain smooth delivery operations.

The role involves licence checks for agency drivers, general administrative duties, and producing regular reports. A permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour week and a competitive salary is offered, based at Kingmoor Park North, Carlisle.

Qualifications

• Intermediate Google Workspace knowledge: Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.
• Knowledge of Microlise and C3 Yard management systems desired

Responsibilities

• Track transport routes to ensure drivers are on duty and trailers arrive as planned.
• Communicate updates with Hub, Network Operations and Security to keep the operation running smoothly.
• Issue routes to drivers and support Transport Shift Managers with administration.
• Undertake comprehensive reporting and data analysis.
